JOB SUMMARY:
To implement the Preventative Maintenance System and perform maintenance tasks to keep the facilities operating for the Visitor Experience. This position will maintain a high-quality level of the visitor experience thru maintenance of the all visitor areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform daily maintenance inspections and repairs
- Perform monthly Preventative Maintenance System tasks
- Perform event set-ups and take-downs as directed by the Facilities Supervisor or the Facilities Rental and Wedding Coordinator
- Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services;
- Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned;
- Responsible for alerting the Facilities Supervisor of any unusual occurrence or damage that may have taken place or that may occur;
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines;
- Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner;
- Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook;
- Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined;
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Flexible to change work schedule to cover other staff vacation time or special events
- Flexible to work special BTG events approximately four times a year
- Ability to climb ladders and walk on roofs

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED; plus two (2) years' experience in facility maintenance work or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools required
- Proficient with multimeter a plus
- Experience in general maintenance trades including working on electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Maintain a professional courteous manner with all staff, volunteers, and visitors
- Standard workweek is 3:00 PM 11:00 PM Wednesday - Sunday, some overtime may be required
- Occasional varied weekly schedule to assist with events and programs
- Some exposure to chemicals used for cleaning and parts maintenance
- Frequent carrying and lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Able to work outside in summer and winter climates
- Occasional reaching, stooping, bending and repetitive arm motions
